This peaceful campsite is perfect for those looking for a relaxing camping experience surrounded by nature. Pristine bushland and breathtaking views of Stevensons Falls make this bush camp an idyllic camping destination like no other. There are plenty of activities to keep you entertained, such as wildlife watching- kangaroos and wrens are common, hiking or enjoying the scenery! The falls are within walking distance and are accessible to wheelchair users.

Although pets are permitted, they must always be kept on a leash. You also have to take your rubbish with you. Ground tent camping is allowed. Campfires are permitted as long as they are in the provided fireplaces and attended at all times by someone who can and has the equipment to put them out. During the Total Fire Ban, campfires are strictly prohibited. Facilities include toilets, picnic tables, non-drinking water, lots of shade, fire pits, and hiking trails. The site is easily accessible by 2WD vehicles, RVs, camper trailers, and caravans. The site is currently undergoing scheduled upgrades until the summer of 2023.

The campsite is located in the Barwon River Reserve between Mercer Street and the railway bridge on the Barwon river bank. It is full of natural beauty, surrounded by magnificent bushland, including native trees and ferns. The campground can be accessed from the Princes Highway via Barwon Terrace.

While here, you can explore the reserve by foot or bike, discover a variety of wildlife, or go fishing in the river. Using this site is at your own risk as the campground area is prone to flooding. You are advised to exercise caution when the river’s height exceeds 2.5M, and the site will be closed when the river exceeds 3M or the ground becomes too soft and unsuitable for vehicles. You are required to bring your own firewood, drinking water and take all your rubbish with you. Hammond Road Campground is accessible by RVs, motorhomes, camper trailers, and caravans.

The campground also has amenities, including toilets, shared fireplaces, non-drinking water, and BBQs. 

You can also take advantage of Lorne’s many trails, which are great for taking in stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The Erskine Falls, Jebbs Pool, and the Cumberland River all are within distance. You’ll have to supply your own firewood and drinking water. In addition, the campground has no garbage bins, and you’ll have to take away your own rubbish. Sites 4 and 17 are suitable for caravans, while the rest of the sites can be used by tent campers, camper trailers, or campervans, except sites 10-19 have no direct vehicle access and can only be used for walk-in ground tent camping. The main car park is centrally located and can be easily accessed.

Here, amenities such as toilets, a picnic area, shade, and BBQ facilities are available. Dogs are not permitted in the Jamieson Creek Campground. While here, you can enjoy fun outdoor activities such as hiking trails, cycling, surfing on the beach, and watching wildlife. The campground is accessible by motorbikes, motorhomes, RVs, camper trailers, and caravans. The roads have been substantially upgraded to allow for 2WD vehicle access all year round. You are required to book and pay in advance. Fires are permitted in fire pits.
